« on: January 05, 2004, 07:07:02 AM »
i got my new trolling motor for christmas, installed it and been out three times since christmas, i got a cabellas at65 hand control, its 65 pound thrust, 24 volt, made by minn kota, i couldnt be happier. the fishing hasnt been that great, but a slow day on the water beats doing nothing at home. i went to elkhorn creek in georgetown, ky. beaver lake in lawerenceburg, ky. and ceder creek a new lake in stanford, ky.                          Brian Penrod,   Lexington, KY.

Sounds like a good deal.  I'm currently using a Motorguide, but I think on the next go around, I'll put a MinnKota on mine.  24 Volt is the way to go on Trolling Motors.

There's Fishing and then there's Bass Fishing
Its kinda like the difference between Sandlot Baseball and Playing on the Team.
The difference is Practice
