Knight pistols dangerous?

Purchased a Knight in-line pistol.  Called about a manual and was told they are prone to accidental discharges and not to shoot it.  No further information available.  Anybody know what the nature of the problem is?  Bad safety?, improper sear engagement?

If it is indeed true, which I have never heard of in all these years since they were available, then I would venture to GUESS that it might have something to do with the trigger linkage. It is designed like a bull-pup rifle, with the trigger out in front of the sear and hammer assembly.

The ones I had were the plunger type bolts exactly like on a MK-85 rifle. Never had a problem with any of them. With 80gr. loads they are a hand full.
