9/11 Charities
« on: August 25, 2011, 05:35:47 AM »
Are you sure you want to donate your hard earned money to Charities?
Lets look at what some of the 9/11 donations are doing for the victims. These are just some of the smaller ones started after 9/11. I would like to see a breakdown of money spent by Org's like the American Red Cross and United Way.

The Red Cross doesn't donate anything.  It's a money making org. thriving on disasters.  I won't even get into what I saw during the war in Vietnam, but I won't give them a red cent.

YEP. My Dad said that during a break in the fighting in ww11 they were sent back to a safe area for a few days rest and the red cross was flown in. They had coffee and donuts for the gis, IF they had money. They had just come in from battle and their pay sent home to family, where would they get any money?? My cousin was in Korea. He said they were told that a red cross crew would be flown in and give them a treat. The plane landed, they set up a coca cola stand. The men lined up, they handed the 1st man in line a btl of coke with the top sealed in paraffin and had him tip it up as if he was drinking it. Took their pr picks and within minutes had everything loaded up and in the air for their next photo op. One gi was tackled as he emptied his garand at the flying plane. The Salvation Army though has done good work. POWDERMAN.  :o :o
