Leupold target turret removal??

I have a scope with target turrets, and would like to replace them with regular turrets. Is this possible?  Can it be done without sending it to Leupold?  Its a vari x III 3x10x50.  Bob

Hey  ardeekay....I don't think so....you might want to send it bck.  I had one on an AR NatlMatch, a VariX II 6.5x18x40....finally sold it.  Those turrets were a PITA....hungt up on everything.

You'll have to send it back to Leupold in order to keep the warranty.  Prolly run you about 100-150 for new knobs but they're really fast.  My friend has them do a lot for him and usual wait time for him is just at 2 weeks shipped and back.
