Anybody shooting this one in a Contender? Any comments,advice or load info? Its a 10" bull from SSK.

Do not use factory or surplus rounds. hand load only for this round

I had no intention of using surplus but wasnt sure about the factory loads.

I have talked to some people that want to get this barrel so they can use the cheap mil surplus. that is why I said not to use them. and the 7.62x39 in the factory loading (and most of the loads listed in reloading books) are too hot for the contender. in an encore with the .310 bore would be a fun round

i have got a 12 in bullberry i have been shooting for two years now it is great for up to 2 hundres yards ,i used hornady 110 the most & some 100 gr i will need to check on the powder & wt i do not remember off hand
