Super91 I called every drug store in my neck of the country and no one carries the Anhydrous lanolin they said they cannot get it anymore and most have not seen it for years?  I guess I live in a too modern of a area as far as drugstores go. The last old time drugstore around here closed this last year all the rest are were bought out by chain outfits and they all buy from the same source. So now what do I do as far as making the lube go to a different recipe?  Or is there a source online? Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

The stuff UC posted is right on track.  The 1 pound is how I buy it, but it makes about 5 batches. You could buy the next one up and get all you need for one batch.  I get it for about $20.00-25.00 a pound here local.  If you can't get it, let me know and I will order you some and ship it to you.  It would probably cost about what the 1 pound does on that site plus shipping.

OK Thanks for the additional info. Now that  I know crafters use it for soap ect let me check out some more local sources. yOU guys are right it is kinda pricey I suppose ya need it though you need it. I wonder how many years you would get for sheep rustling?  :)  :)  :)  I thought Dixie might carry it but they only have mutton tallow. Will let you know if I find some locally.  Thanks again. Jim
