The problem is 'supposed" to be using protected wood for the finished product. They did their little raid, sent employees home & held many pallets of wood, basically a shutdown without formal charges. It is a wee bit like the Milk raid in Kali, exept it turns out that Gibson folks have financially backed Republicans & their main competitor is a Dem backer, uses some of the same wood with no problems.
The Gibson folks were saying on the radio today that it appears they will have to go to another country. No wonder businesses don't want to grow & hire, being in business here is a shaky proposition, esp. if you refuse to lick Obummer's boots.

  I heard an interview of the Gibson CEO with Alex Jones. The Feds told the CEO every thing would be fine if the labor was done in Madagascar. Obama is just continuing the assault on the American workers stated by the Bushes and Clintons.   ...Since most muscians, especially acoustic types....seem to be left leaning folksy types....this could be some kind of engineered counter attack on attack on leftist....to wipe out there 'message' centers as it were.  Possible exception with some country rightest  muscians who are laughing in their beer and could care less about Madagascar forest...as they probably already have an old growth mahogony back guitar anyway....

This is the same mindset as saying hunters care nothing about the animals, when in reality the hunters do more to support wildlife than any other group.

Personally, I'm against actions against Martin or Gibson Guitars, Inc. lemon aide stands, and raw milk purveyors....but on this Guitar case I do need  some more info, however, before going off hairtrigger NS style.

Come to think of it, you are likely correct. I am not aware of a time when GOPers have done a raid like this & shut down a business Gestapo style in this fashion. But for Demoncraps it is a growing trend.

Hmmm. Wonder about the wood on my heirloom violin handed down by my great grandfather? Oh Oh, my gunstocks are made of wood too, better lock everything made of wood in the gun safes. Darn, don't have room for the grandfather clock or my piano.
