  Now that Perry seems to be gathering some steam, archive hunting fans have found photos of Rick Perry and Barack Obama, both at 22 years of age. I place it here without accompanying comment..I'll leave that to you..

Since you're leaving it to me, I'll comment. First of all, Obama is only 18 in that pic - he's a college freshman, and is not 22. So, whoever came up with the pic is either incompetent, a liar, or just plain sloppy. When Perry was a freshman in school, he was trying out for... male cheerleader at A&M.

Also... I wonder if Perry is 22 in the pose-by-the-trainer pic. Why? He's got 2nd LT/LT bars... that would mean he'd already graduated & been commissioned, right? So he'd have already been through primary tng, and is now onto advanced training in T-38, before he got sidelined into multi-engine transports.

That speaks volumes ;D

What does it say, other than... Perry can pose next to a T-38 trainer?

Here are a few more to choose from:

 Magooch;
     Pleased to hear some of the comments, however it needs a bit of correction in some cases.  There are a few facts which may or may not be of comfort to some Americans;

  A)  He is not descended from some tribe in the African jungle, but from a Texas ranch family.

 B) He did not attend early school in a foreign (Muslim) country, but right there in ranch country in the Lone Star state.

 C) He has always been known as Mr Perry (no AKAs for him).

 D) Hedid attend Texas A&M, was on the male "cheer squad" also active in the Corps of Cadets.

 E) Perry is a member of Lake Hills Church (basically Baptist) a Christian of course..no doubt of it.

 F) He didn't just 'pose' in the flight gear, he was a qualified pilot and flew C-130s in the middle east and Europe.

 G) He came by it honest..his Dad Ray, was a bomber tailgunner  (WW2 Europe) with 35 missions.

  Yes, some try to slough off Perry's military experience, but I personally believe it is a better character builder than cigarettes and a Panama hat.. ;)

  Still, 3 years ago millions of us tried to warn all voters of how our country would slide off the edge if they voted for a "community organizer" as president.  Although McCain was no great shakes..it was either him or "jumpshot" !  Still, many voted for jumpshot !  Guess they couldn't tell one uniform from another..

concerning cheerleading, the contractor who built our addition on the house had a cheerleading schorlarship to UGA and he is a brute. he was on the squad with his wife and he can still throw her in the air and catch her butt in one hand and hold her straight overhead.

  The libbies can try to denigrate male cheer squads..
      But at least conservatives are not crusading for..special gay rights, praising "transgender" watchamacalits, handing condoms to grade school kids (and demonstrating how to use them)..

  It is interesting that conservatives could within little more than 20 years, elect as prez, 3 who were experienced military pilots while they were still young.

   In that same couple decades, the Libbies have shoved through 2 who were military duty evaders while young.

I didn't know that young Republicans didn't and don't smoke and wear funny hats.  That doesn't make sense because I know a bunch of young and old Republicans who smoke all kinds of cigarettes and wear funny hats.

   NO Junior;

    I really wasn't pointing out the hats, so much as the type of hats..you will notice all 3 conservatives were using pilot hats!
...And, I think those photos reveal something about character..that's just me though..

     OH YES...Mrs Perry, good Texan she is, has ALWAYS been "proud of her country"..

  BTW... Muslim youth alliance uniforms don't count !

I haven't seen any male cheerleaders that I would consider wimps. They have to be strong and well coordinated to do the routines they perform.

I wonder how many of the Libs that are putting down the cheerleader bit were jocks themselves. None that I have seen so far.  ::)

Turns out Obama has evolved into a pretty good marathon dancer though.
Here he demonstrates the 'Blame Dance'. This does not include one of his latest steps/excuses called, "bad luck".

Saddlebum;
     That cartoon was accurate, except they missed a few more things he blamed..such as.. The Tea Party..NRA...Bitter Clingers..a hurricane..a measles contaigon in Guinea and an outbreak of 'jock itch' in Upper Volta !

    We find it interesting that he blames Bush for "two wars in the middle east"..while not mentioning the one he jumped into in North Africa..   Incidentally; does anyone here recall hearing him blame Muslim terrorists for anything ?

   BTW; here is a sample of Obama supporters from the last presidential election...chuckle for today..

  The silly thing about that video is that those mental midgets will probably vote the same way again.. being unemployed for 2.5 years hasn't taught them a thing ~
   That gal in the pink sweater did seem to be on the verge of "getting it" though..and she did admit she realized she wasn't very well informed.
     ..At least she's smarter than the rest of them.

It taught them not to vote for the party which put them in the unemployment line.

Here is a good example of (1) cognitive dissonance; (2) selective reasoning; (3) myopic mindset; and (4) plain ol' ignoring facts.  It's a common mental illness among Republicans who claim GWB left the country in fine shape, and all the economy needed was one more tax cut for the wealthy.

Does anyone here recall what 'Muslim terrorists' had to do with America launching a war of conquest against Iraq?

Yeah, Iraq was giving sanctuary to known muslim terrorists.  And there was the little thing about Iraq not complying with the cease fire agreement from Desert Storm.  It was also official U.S. policy (signed into effect by Bill Clinton) that we persue the elimination of Saddam Huesein.

@ironglow

I was sure someone would come up with more excuses than was listed, although I believe Obama's blanket excuse of "bad luck" covers some of the ones you mentioned.

I have seen that video a long time ago, thanks for the reminder......(I think)   :o

I think the thing that jumps out at me the most, aside from the incredible ignorance, is the fact that those people got that way from relying on the media for information. All they could remember about any one politician mentioned is what they heard on the mainstream media. Mainstream media did not, (does not), report on all the negatives of the Democrat politicians mentioned and does alot of trivial bashing and gossip of people like Palin. That's all they knew then, and I'm sure that is all they know now. Laziness on their part can also be attributed to their ignorance too. Sadly too, there are those who will never 'get it' no matter how much truthful information they receive. We see people cutting their own throat in the voting booth in every election.

I've always said that the best election strategy that Obama ever used was to target the 'stupid vote' in America. Come to think of it, that may be his only strategy. And the media, being in kahoots with the Dems, keeps Americans dumbed down and ignorant.

  It sure was enlightening when those two numbskulls gave their sources for NEWS..the daffy girl with the obama shirt gets her news from MSNBC and Jon Stewart..no wonder she voted "off the wall".
   Then we have a gray headed guy, who SHOULD know better, who confesses he gets his news from Bill Marr !!!
    No wondewr we are suffering a true 20% unemployment rate and our 401Ks are more like 89Ks

Yep! I have to admit I was a little shocked the first time I read a post where a guy bragged that he considered himself a news junkie and that he got his news from Jon Stewart. But the fact is that most of the media is not much better. About the only time I check out TV news anymore is when there is a natural disaster or something like that. And thats mostly for the video............
BTW, whats a 401K?     :(
