Planning on a .45-70 ML. I need info on the best source for a plug, and service info on ventliner consumption using 209 powder. Any thoughts on replcing the lug ,removed for lathe work, with a thimble to allow full length rod thru it that can have a nut brazed to the bottom that would accept the lug bolt? Thank you, Ken
