Beretta m-62
« on: September 04, 2011, 03:36:03 AM »
I bought a Beretta M-62 a little while back, with the intention of reselling it. I have always wanted a M1A so I decided to shoot it. I was impresses with both the lack of recoil and the accuracy of the gun. A couple of questions. Can I use Springfield mags? How easy is it to improve the trigger? Should I sell it and buy a Match grade Springfield? I am shooting hand loads, started with 150 gr and 4064, any suggestions? Shotgunner

M14 mags won't fit a BM 62 and for your second question, well, that's up to you. An M1A might be easier to find spare parts for, though the Berreta will take some M1 Garand parts.
