I decided to build a project rifle. So ive gotta 98mausar action im gonna do it in 35 whelen because i gotta have one lol. Where would be the best place to find a barrel? Im not wanting to spend an arm&a leg on it id like to get the barrel for around 200 or less if possible. Thanks for any advice

Brownells usually has a selection of barrels, check woth them.
 
I have used Douglas, Shaw and A&B barrels for many of my projects.  My preference is in that order.  I see little use for a premium target barrel to be used on a non target rifle unless I can get one very inexpensively.

Yup, you ain't gonna be shooting bullseyes with a 35 Whelan. I used a Douglas to make mine and it shot way better than I could.

Adams and Bennett prethreaded barrels from Midway are the deal. They're cheap and they work great!
