Got a New TC!

Just got a new TC handgun today!  It is an encore chambered in .308 with walnut furniture!

I have one also. She is a tack driver with 150gr bullets. I can not wait till I get one in her crosshairs. I hope you have as much fun with yours as I have had with mine. She a real go getter. At 300m she's on the money. I don't plan to shoot one that far, going to try to keep it under 150, but I think she will do the job. Have fun.

What do you carry in the field with you? Bipod, tripod etc...

If your talking to me I set up a camera tri-pod with a sand bag on it. or I have a walking stick that I cut to make a "V" when you fold it out. The tri-pod I us in a blind on the ground or camo it and the gun next to a tree. the walking stick speaks for it's self. and I have a bi-pod that I  use off the hood of the truck or whatever it works very well off a log on the ground also. but I carry a 45lc 4 5/8 and put my big gun in my backpack. I have lots of barrels for the contender and the encore but I am never with out my Ruger 45lc. no mater what I'm hunting with. and yes sometime I just hunt with my Ruger.

I have one also. Haven't got to hunt with it much though. I recommend a good set of shooting sticks. Good Luck!
