1949 issue No4MK2 stripped action

Got one free. finish is poor but action is tight AND she's got a "0" bolthead that fits VERY tight. Barely lines up with the guide rib, nowhere near over roatating. I'm torn with what to do with it. Of course the 303 is the obvious, and probably best choice, but I'd like something else. I'm not particular as to repeater or single shot capability. Anyone out there ever go whole hog on a No4 MK2?

Muddly:  look up the name Epps.  He is a Canadian who created a number of different calibers using the 303 British as a base cartridge and you can go up or down the caliber scale.  The SMLE action is available from Gibbs in the 45-70 cailber.  Sporting stocks of different styles and materials are readily availalbe.
