I went out last weekend to see if I could find something. The wind was pumping making the
animals very nervous. After about 7 hours in a pitblind this young impala ram came in with
a couple of ewes.
It took 15 minutes before he gave my a gap. I put the pin 1/3 up his front leg. Even though
the distance was only 22 yards the impala still managed to move enough for the shot to hit him
1/2 way on the shoulder.
The 530gr arrow with 2 blade Rage smashed the shoulder blade and exit just behind the
shoulder on the other side.
He managed 43 yards from where he stood - those Rage blades are very potent !! (3rd buck I shoot with them)
