I also agree on cutting the crap about transferring credits from one school to another.  You have to have so many credit hours to get a degree from any one school.  If you have to move for any reason across state or state lines, your college credits may transfer, but you still have to have so many credit hours to finish your degree from any one school.  Medical should at least be the acception to get more people into the medical field.

If the Dems are so fair and socialism has so many freedoms??  Why are the people of California denied firearms freedoms??? California was and is Dem controlled the Dems do not trust the citizens. Alaska, Wyoming etc. are Republican states were the citizens are trusted by their government and are allowed to carry firearms without permits. The economy of California is a wreck and companies and investors are leaving that state in droves. They are going to freedom Repub states like Texas.  Cuba was once a wealthy island republic look at what socialist left wing ideals has wrought up on these people.  How can anyone lean toward these Marxist socialist ideals?? ::)

  Sidewinder;
You are correct of course!  Where the government works for and serves the people..there is no need to infringe upon the people's right to keep and bear arms..
Where the government works against the people and only care about serving themselves, naturally the government has a reason to fear the people.

Our constitutional republic was designed so the GOVERNMENT SERVES the PEOPLE...
Where the politicians decide to usurp the guidelines for a constitutional republic and take power FROM the people, the first move they try to make is to disarm a public, who soon become disgruntled with their loss of freedom..

     All dictators do that !
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

Do you know what would have happened in Spain if Franco hadn't taken over ?
Sometimes(rarely) it takes a dictator to clean house. Usually it isn't pretty.

Thats the story anyway.
Another fallacy they have is, "it hasn't worked yet because we haven't done enough of it yet". Their favorite is, not enough spending yet.

There were no tax cuts...you been programmed.  If the tax rates came down, they came down to where they used to be before they were raised, and I figure they been getting raised for the entire time I've been alive. I work for a large company, obviously they were too high cause we cut two thirds of the work force out because of taxes and regulations.  Regulations can cost more than taxes, they are really taxes called something else.  It takes a lot of federal jobs to enforce and over see regulations, so of course the government uses this for GROWTH.
The left wing is programmed to think taxes going down to where they used to be is a tax cut,  it's really does very little because they are so small. They also believe a glass of water is half empty, when in fact it's half full.  I've paid a huge chunk of my wealth already to the state and federal governments, more than ever before in my life, and I can talk to any left wing person in this area and hear about how my taxes were "cut".  Left wing is programmed to think someone elses money belongs to them somehow,  they don't know what freedom really is.  They never will understand that our own money IS freedom.  There is no such thing as a tax cut, if they back off a meaningless percent or two, they raise it somewhere else, or your state makes up the difference, they get fed money too...it's a pretty good racket.  The cost of running our company goes up each year, keeping the bloated pig government spending and the left wing nuts hoping and praying they get a piece....they get nothing either...they just don't know it because some idiot tells them..."it coulda been worse"....go figure.

Obama has moved the U.S. economy to a Marxist model.  The government chooses which businesses will be allowed to operate and those which will not. The Obama Marxist models allow Hugh crony capitalist schems such as the 500 million in Green losses. Obama supporter Kaiser was allowed taxpayer dollars because of political consideration not an economic consideration. The money can then be routed back to Obama thru Kaisers donations. The Gibson Gutair company was raided by Federal armed agents and shut down. Gibson CEO was a large Republican donor. Gibson was not receiving federal funds. Kaiser had unlimited access to the White House. Obama has now set up a virtual SS called attack. com. This allows citizens to report on anyone who disagrees with Obama. This all sounds familiar to students of Russian Marxist political evolution. ???

Wrong.  Google "bush tax cuts facts" and see what you get.  Pick your choice of 3,380,000 links.  You won't like 99% of them.

Tax cuts/reductions for those that pay taxes versus more free givaways for those that pay nothing. Which one makes more sense?

I was listening to the debate and heard the "Yes" and the laughter.  That attitude is NOT what the Tea Party that I am familiar with is all about.  No one that I personally know would have done either of those.

The Tea Party is about:  individual freedom, individual responsibility, fewer taxes, fewer makework and giveaway programs, less government.

Remember the Liberal philosophy:  "No government program has ever failed because of its lack of merit.  It failed because (1) it wasn't adequately funded, or, (2) Republican meanies wanted to give tax breaks to millionaires instead, or, (3) Bush did it."
