handi chamber polishing
« on: September 13, 2011, 10:30:48 AM »
hello;

@1/3 of fired cases are sticking in the chamber of my 308win.  when you polish, do you polish just the chamber where the case body is, or polish everything -the part for case body, case shoulder, and case neck?

thanks for any input.

Hand loaded 'hot' rounds might stick every now and then, but
factory shouldn't. Be careful if you polish. Gently goes it !!!!

Depends on which method you use, if you use a modified fired case, the entire chamber will be polished, other methods like a bore mop will polish the body and shoulder only on bottlenecked chambers.
