So, if the majority does not rule then explain to me the purpouse of your vote. Are the votes counted and then forgotten and the choice made by some other method? Are you telling me that a minority has the right to decide for the majority? As to my feeding someone their teeth it's a free Country, as you so graciously point out, and my choice if I feel it's worth the consequences. At 57, with a heart that probably won't last another 3 years and nothing that can be done about it, no property in my name ( done signed it all over to my son ), and knowing witnesses are needed to make a case most of which would gladly look the other way wishing it was them shutting the scumbag up instead of me ( around here most would encourage me to hit him again and swear to the police he threw the first punch), heck I might just feel it's worth it. Or I might just show up with a few dozen Vets, and or Patriot Guard Riders and we exercise our right to free speech as we one by one inform the scum of our opinion of him which is most likely the course I'd take depending on the situation.

  You didn't say voters, you said the majority.  The majority of voters voted for Obama.  The majority of voters believe baby murder, excuse me abortion, is OK.  If it's voters we're talking about, I'm afraid to say that people with a good moral foundation and common sense are now a minority.  As far a laying on hands for someone running their mouth, do what you need to do.  I was taught about sticks and stones at a young age, though.

Ya wanna hear the kicker? Another thread on the same forum apeared about the Westborough Babtist Church protesting a concert by the Foo Fighters rock band. The response by everyone? Kill them, run them down with cars, nuke them, beat them senseless! The real bite in the deriere was that that is responses by the very same people that trashed me for saying I'd quite possibly feed someone their teeth if they disrespected a fallen soldier in my presence. Trash a fallen soldier? No biggy. Trash a rock band and no limit to the violence we will rain down on you. As I told them in my one final post on that forum I'll ever make....does the word hypocrite ring any bells? No matter how old I get some peoples hypocricy never fails to amaze me!

My daughter will never date until I see fit, not watch the junk on TV, read and write when bored, and work or take a job when old enough. If anyone wants to "trash" you for defending fallen soldiers....well I am shoulder-to-shoulder with you!  They will have to take both of us down and I may lose (remember I said "may lose"....), but they will never forget it for the rest of their lives with alot of personal and physical regret!!
