Dear Guys,
I am thinking about perhaps getting a Ruger #3 in .22 Hornet, for close varmint and squirrel hunting. But I have a technical question.
I remember years ago, looking at a Browning Low Wall in .22 Hornet. It was really expensive. I was very surprised to hear that they were not very accurate at all, because to save money, Browning didn't use a true .22 Hornet barrel on them (which I think are actually .25 caliber?), but instead used some type of stock .22 barrel.
My question is: Did the Ruger #3 in .22 Hornet have the correct, true, barrel for the .22 Hornet round.
Also, does anyone have any info on the accuracy of these with factory ammo?
Thanks, Mannyrock
