that time of year again
« on: September 19, 2011, 03:21:20 PM »
well its that time of year again,
N-SSA nationals.  and again i only have a few weeks and i am not ready, or practiced. oh well, maybe next year.
should be a good time anyway.  if you have never been you should come out and see the big guns shoot. I am on first relay position 14 i think.

Rats.  I've already committed on 08 Oct to take my soda-pop bottle caliber motar over to a friend's for a group demo.  They want to see rounds dropped into a pond from 400 yards away.

To bad Tim because  Back Creek Gunshop is right next door and you could have stocked up on real black powder.

Rick,  Wish you all the luck, know you have the skill!  I didn't get all my uniform gear squared away in time to register the Mtn Rifle for the shoot but I'll be there on Sunday shooting a borrowed musket.  Picked up a new Pedersoli 1861 springfield last month but have to mount a new front sight. You know the drill...  too much kentucky windage.

When are you going to come shoot cannons?  We have some load development to do.
Ammunition is like firewood. The more you have, the warmer you feel.
