A few cannons in Bermuda
« on: September 20, 2011, 06:34:25 PM »
Unfortunately I had not yet taken an in depth interest in Cannons while I was there so I faild to get good pictures of them. Mostly shots with them in the background. ~Zane

A firing spot inside a fort. I am not sure what type gun they had in there.

I'd call the first one an Armstrong 7", 6.5 ton RML, MK1, if this is a test.

Having been stationed in Bermuda in the 70's then again in the 80's with the US Navy, it was interesting that one could SCUBA dive near the forts and dockyards and find cannon that were just pushed over the walls when upgrades were made.Unfortunatly, I really wasn't into cannon at that time or I would have paid more attention....
