Would love to go down south to enjoy the hunting..but so much paperwork to go through....might just go to Alberta....See ya.
Actually, crossing the border with a muzzleloader is a breeze. There is no paperwork needed. Just make sure you have your registration certificate and let them know at U.S. customs when you cross and again at Canadian when you return. The Encore, however, might be a problem. The ATF can't really decide where it belongs and last time I checked you still needed to go through all the paperwork to get it across, even with the muzzleloader barrel attached. I can't believe how easy it is for Americans to bring guns into Canada and how hard it is for us to take guns south. Oh well, thankfully we have such great hunting up here.
There were loads of big bucks killed in Alberta this year, both whitetails and mulies. Where are you from?
