   As I said in another post...when it is a group of people who never had to work hard in their lives..and about half of them lived all their lives on govt handouts..it's natural to take all they can get and have no qualms of conscience about it !

   Nuttin` new. I retired from a Pa. State University, as a Custodian. They would throw big "Receptions" complete with lavish Food and Drink Tables. 3/4 of the stuff was thrown out! The Caterers would gather up the non-perishables and resell them at the next Shindig. Just part of the waste I saw....

I would suggest that a new government agency be tasked with preventing and prosecuting waste, fraud and abuse, but no, it would just compound the problem.  The only thing that might work a little is if everyone would demand that their congressman support a 20% cut in every government department.
