Grovtec.com makes swivels special for contenders.  Any rifle sling you like should work.  I bought a like new leather holster sold by Thompson used on Ebay.  It was made for scoped contenders.  You wear it with the pistol across your chest kinda like a bandalier.  I like that also.  I use both depending on which contender I am hunting with.

I think mine came from Uncle Mike's. Probably bought it someplace local.
It replaces the grip screw and the forend screw with a swivel stud. Snap on the swivels, attach a nylon sling and away you go.

     +1 on the sling........I use and reccomend the "Just Sling It" pistol sling available at E A Brown 8) .

I carry an uncle mikes shoulder holster made for the contenders and encores.  It has a rag wool sock stretched over it to make it quiet while walking through the woods.

 I use the Uncle Mike's Bandolier holster as it is comfortable, protects the pistol, provides easy access and doesn't interfere with my backpack.
