Both sides are afraid of Ron because he speaks the truth. The establishment Republicans don't like him because he doesn't favor the open borders policy that people like Perry and Obamney will champion, just like their predecessor Jorge Bush and Juan McAmnesty championed. They don't like him because he favors ending the wars in the middle east. They also don't like him because he wants to get rid of the fed. Neither side wants to lose their blank checkbook after all.

The fact that the establishment media is so afraid of him should be clue enough for intelligent people to want to vote for him. Everybody complains about the media and how biased they are yet they are still willing to vote for whoever the media tells them to.
"Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves."

This goes way beyond biased. The poll was going a way Fox didn't like. Drudge put up a link and drove in a lot of traffic. So Fox quickly pulled the poll and declared Romney the winner. Infowars.com took the snap shot of the poll I posted just before Fox pulled it.

I wouldn't exactly call that a legitimate poll if it was driven by a Drudge link.

It wasn't driven by Drudge, Fox pulled it too fast for that. Oh ya then they declared Romney the winner. Don't you see something wrong with that?

Lost Farmboy, you just said that "Drudge put up a link and drove in a lot of traffic".  At that point, the poll was not going to be accurate.  Whether you like RP or not, you have to admit that a rigged poll is predicative of nothing.

After watching and hearing the debate, I wouldn't give you .02 for Perry or Romney. They kept badgering each other about who said what in who's book. Hermain Cain, Bachman and Paul at least answered the questions, and didn't yip at each other like 8 year olds. Even Santorum gave better reply's. I'ld go with Paul anyday over those 2. gypsyman

Looks like "none of the above"... ;)   According to the folks who attended the caucuses and the debate; their vote went to Herman Cain !   http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/09/24/perry-says-rivals-made-mistake-by-skipping-florida-test-vote/
    Looks like this;
 1) Cain  37%
 2) Perry  15%
 3) Romney  14%
 4) Santorum  11%
 5) Paul  10.5%
 6) Huntsman  8.5%
Note; Cain had more than double the tally garnered by Perry...who was next in line.

Actually, not being committed to any single one, I'm enjoying the turmoil...keeps them on their toes !   Now, if Chris Christie decides he might enter....more excitement.  At least the conservatives will have a choice drawn from a broad spectrum, rather than a choice of two 'anointed ones' as the liberals did in 2008 !
Poor libs had 2 choices in 2008, one by the establishment (1960s hippies) wing and the other by the destructive, radical revolutionaries.  I guess you could say the... radical 60s wing...  vs the.. radical 70s wing..  ;)   ;D  ...They finally chose the latter..
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

Repubs should wise up. It they're not going to go with Ron Paul, Gary Johnson would be a very good choice.
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Cain did good, I like him and he might just pull some of the black vote away from Obama.
My only concern would be that the hue of his hide takes precedence over being a President for all Americans.

Millions of Americans have long had that concern about many of our Presidents.

I had to chuckle when I read your description of Paul!! The only time he answers with two words, is when he is cut off in mid sentence. As far as "where he stands" No one is more of an open book than R. P. If and when he is given air time and allowed to speak, he makes no bones about his political views.

If you get most of your news from Lame Stream Media (AKA) Fox, MSNBC, CNN or another  one of those fair and unbalanced, so called news sources. I would suggest, if you would really like to see where Paul stands on issues, go to Ron Paul.com.

there's a lot of people that watch the debates and don't go any farther looking for info.
and of course the major media won't give him any coverage.  if you dig deep you can learn about RP but sadly, most don't.

It is sad! :'(

We have a chance to break the mold this election. To actually vote for someone in the Republican party with some morals and intellect.Someone that not only professes to believe in the Constitution, but uses it for a road map to guide his voting practices.

I think we are running out of time to keep the Republic afloat. We may never have this opportunity again to elect a true statesman to the highest office in the land. We keep voting this tired old Lesser of two evil candidates, and continue to slide down the slippery slope. It don't work! Why not give an underdog a chance? Actually! he is only an underdog to these Liberal Republicans he must get through. He would kick Obama's tail! Think about it! If he had the Republican voters behind him, he would get most of the third party vote, and enough of the more Conservative Democrat vote to take it by a landslide.

I think "THAT" is what scares the GOP more than anything. Even if they lose with a Liberal like Perry or Romney running, they would actually rather have Obama in office than a true Conservative like Paul. The Liberal leaders in the Republican party don't want the power to shift to a more Libertarian movement. One that TRULY believes in smaller Government.

Freedom Of Speech.....Once we lose it, every other freedom will follow.

What may save your bacon is a Repub majority in the Senate and no change in the House or the Supremes. In that case Obama is pretty well ham strung.
