It is sad!
We have a chance to break the mold this election. To actually vote for someone in the Republican party with some morals and intellect.Someone that not only professes to believe in the Constitution, but uses it for a road map to guide his voting practices.
I think we are running out of time to keep the Republic afloat. We may never have this opportunity again to elect a true statesman to the highest office in the land. We keep voting this tired old Lesser of two evil candidates, and continue to slide down the slippery slope. It don't work! Why not give an underdog a chance? Actually! he is only an underdog to these Liberal Republicans he must get through. He would kick Obama's tail! Think about it! If he had the Republican voters behind him, he would get most of the third party vote, and enough of the more Conservative Democrat vote to take it by a landslide.
I think "THAT" is what scares the GOP more than anything. Even if they lose with a Liberal like Perry or Romney running, they would actually rather have Obama in office than a true Conservative like Paul. The Liberal leaders in the Republican party don't want the power to shift to a more Libertarian movement. One that TRULY believes in smaller Government.
