Oxidation Question. Older Bullets

 I inherited my dads reloading stuff and am going to start reloading. There are several boxes of bullets that the exposed lead is lightly oxidized and the copper jackets are discolored. They were stored in ammo cans.
 
 Should I toss these? If not, what is the best was to clean them?
 
 I was thinking maybe a tumbler (Which I don't have yet) or brasso?

or just shoot them i have a some of my dads old bullets from 196?
i like to shoot a few now and then its like he is with me then

 Kinda what I was thinking, may try to kill a deer with them this year, loaded on his equipment.

Just projectiles correct??  If so just Load and shoot them.. If the tarnish bothers you tumble them...
 
I have some far older and have loaded and fired them with no problems what so ever....

CW is correct that light lead oxide and discolored jackets are harmless.  If it bothers you, yes, tumble them and it will help but don't expect the discolored jackets to come back to like new. 
 
Do NOT use Brasso on bullets or cases because it contains liquid ammonia; that's a no-no.
