U.S. Concealed Carry Association, Inc.

What is your take on this organization?  On the surface it appears to be a  very good associations to belong to if you carry concealed.  If I’m interrupting this correctly, they provide $250K insurance for legal fees should a member need them.  For $37. that seems to very attractive.

Any experience with them?  Comments?

I'm on the fence regarding them as well.  I have a basic membership which essentially gives me access to their web site and forum.   Some good info can be found there pertaining to guns, gear, tactics, etc. for folks who CC or are thinking about it.

The only caveat I have is that Tim Schmidt is worse than the NRA when it comes to pushing membership upgrades and their products and services.

So in short I like them as a source of information but wish they would back of the constant sales pitches a little.
