Here are some pictures of the trailer I'm going to be towing to Florida. I am living in it now. Everything in it works such as the stove, furnace, hot water heater and the fridge. I have to replace the floor though.. The previous owner left the roof vents open for some time and destroyed the floor. The good news news is the floor space is only 60 square feet. Take care Dale

My younger brother ran off to the Florida swamps perhaps 30 years ago. For the first two years he lived in a pup tent then for about the next 12 years in a camping trailer about like that. He survived it.

Mine was once.  In fact I bought it with cash from the sale of a previous home.   ;D

Then I had to take out a home equity line to make some improvements to the property and buy the wife a new vehicle because here old one was on it's last legs.   

Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.  :'(

Great little trailer, my son has one just like it.  He bought it (stole it) from his wife's boss, it was stored inside for years and had very little use.  The first time he took it out he got caught in a West Texas hail storm and it beat the "hell" out of it.  Other than dings all over it is still usable and serves his needs.
 
I am with Swampman, I have a 36 foot fifth wheel with three slides setting out back.  I haven't been able to use it for the past two years due to my health but would sure like to pull it up near Johnson City, TN on the Cinch river and stay until it gets cold.  That fresh mountain air sure does something for a man.
If health allowed I would sell the house and hit the road full time in the trailer, we love traveling, staying for a while and then moving on to look at new faces and new places.

Well I guess I'm one of the "not many".  I'm 54 and my home has been paid off for several years now.  Haven't had a car payment in over 10 years.

I consider myself both blessed and a lucky man.

I lived for some time in a 24 foot sailboat with sitting head room only after a divorce. "Graduated" to a 40 foot Catamaran with the ex'es replacement( present wife)  that boat was home for 7 years.
 
If I had my druthers I be on a comfortable houseboat now.

I have to say that just a few weeks ago when I was sleeping in my truck it was about the lowest point of my life. I felt very alone. That is exactly what I am doing picking myself up and dusting myself off. I am working the problem and hope to be in Fl in a couple weeks. IThe place I have my trailer parked now is accorss the street from a bar. I have been here for over 2 weeks and have not set foot in the place. Sundays are tempting though because the Steelers play and I don't have a tv to watch them so I have been listening to them on the radio. Well I'm off to bed good night guys and take care. Dale
