A 16th century bronze English falcon taken as a trophy during the Philippine Insurrection in 1901, and then brought back to the U.S. in 1904. Now that's what I'd call an unusual provenance.

RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won. He died instantly.

There was also a set of very old Spanish Church Bells brought back. They were also at Warren. Not many years ago they were returned to the Phillipeans.

I'll go along with that as a commendable gesture of friendship with the Philippines, although I think we should never let the cannon go the same route.
