You approve of the way that the Deputy Inspector walked up to the women corralled behind the police barrier, trapped... then sprayed them in the face, then casually walked away? No assistance? No arrest? No 'use of force' report? Is that what you want from our peace officers?

Since you seem to know, that the above things "were not done", I guess you also know that NYPD has department assigned officers video taping the demonstrators, to assist them in identifying those demonstrators that were behaving in a tumultuous manner. So if you really want film of the incident prior to the demonstrators being pepper sprayed, I suggest that you contact the NYPD video unit. BTW, Lots of luck. Those demonstrators who were in violation of the law in NY, were liable to be arrested with the use of physical force if necessary. As I stated the use of pepper spray is an acceptable use of force in lieu of use of a more serious physical force (head knocking) to stop, arrest such behavior. Or is that what you think the Police should have done instead?
