Great news reported on the AP today that illegal students are vanishing from Alabama public schools after the recent federal court ruling. Excellant News!

C4. Sad part is that the libs and media keep pushing this so called immigration reform when it has nothing to do with immigration, it's all about controlling illegal criminals, invaders. I hope they go South, not North. My neighbor and I used to be involved with farm labor here. She had a list of local folks needing work and farmers would call her for help and she'd match them up. There were always more people wanting to work than there was work. And yes, there were mexicans working jobs while Americans did without. POWDERMAN.

The Alabama law which was upheld for the most part. On aspect of the law requires public schools to verify citizenship of its students. The ones that can't verify, the illegals are not returning to school. I would think the teachers would be happy. Less kids in the class room meams higher teacher to student ratio.

And yes TM7, I can forecast posts by some members here. Certain members develop an unmistakable pattern of posting.

The legal kid's illegal parents are also worried that they will be deported since the schools have parent info on file. They are not allowing their kids to go to school either. The news is running quite a few stories on complete trailer parks emptying out overnight for a max exodus to safe haven states.

I don't agree that they are leaving because there are no jobs in America. I think they are leaving because they may face deportation back to their country. There are plenty of jobs here that American's have been to lazy to do for quite a while now. That is why there are so many illegals. Another reason is unscrupulous employers can pay less than the legal wage, often employing 2, 3 or 4 people for what legally he could employ 1.

I doubt those people find Florida as a Haven. At least not under the present Governor. Mandatory drug testing is now the law in that State for Welfare recipients. Dunno about e-verify if it is not now I believe it will be shortly.

So students in public grade school are here just because want to work?

Overall illegal working parents don;t pay proper/all tax levels. So getting the kids out of the schools is good and incenting them and thier parents to go back to thier country is good for all Americans. We don;t need people here illegally, thats why its illegal.

I have a buddy that works at our local Big Lots. When the law was first passed they could not keep luggage on the shelves fast enough. There were pulling up in vans and buying any types of bags, suitcases, and even clothes baskets an entire stock at a time. Last week the massive moving started again. It feels good to be in a state that is asserting its rights under the Constitution!!!

On the other hand uneducated ill prepared kids grow up to be uneducated ill prepared adults. Uneducated unskilled young adults commit more crime than educated skilled young adults. I am not sure we won't be trading the savings in education for a more costly trip through the justice system. Only time will tell, but sometimes savings at one end of the system equals more cost at the other end.

I agree. Don;t allow them to come in and if found they should be deported. Thats what other countries do with illegal aliens. They are here illegally, they are breaking the law, the law they broke is crossing into our country or over staying a Visa. The way you correct a wrong is by reversing the wrong if doable. In the case of illegal immigration, it is reversable.

Because not everyone is supported dirrectly by the state.

The libs would deed them a square inch of land each and have a billion votes.
I am at the point if you receive government aide you should not be able to vote.
While I was at work keeping their lazy ass up. They were being hauled to voting booths, in probably qovernment paid buses, to vote for more of my money.
I had to rush after I got off work to make the polls and vote. To try and keep enough to buy food.

I don't much care so long as they leave Alabama. Once they cross the state line they are someone else's problem not ours. If all states would pass such laws the feds would eventually have to cave in and begin doing their job of keeping them out in the first place and tossing them out when found.

I don't believe any other country on earth would allow this crap to happen within their borders. For dang sure Mexico doesn't.
