Pump .22`s

   Are there any pump-action .22`s still being made??? Am looking around for one but not sure if they exist anymore....

there are lots of old used ones for sale. that are prob better quality than your goin to find today in new ones.the henry is prob fine but the older rems are nice and as are the older winchesters.the older rossi guns are nice and most of them did work well.dont get one with the cheap azz safety on them.let us know what yu find!

Bought a rossi sight unseen for $130. Went to get it and the gun was nickel,NIB, and has a honey colored stock. It functions well but would be difficult to scope. That remington is sweet,I didn't know you could get a new one,either. I have a BPR that is neat,but hard to find. Happy shopping!

A buddy of mine has been looking to buy a new Henry for over a year.  Harder to find than a Chupachabra.  Ive been tracking Gallery of Guns and they have been out of stock.

  That's probably a GOOD thing, as the Henry pump is a poor design and they haven't been sending any out, as they are redesigning a few parts in them right now.

ive looked at a couple of the henrys, they seemed allright but they just didnt trip my trigger at all.not quite family heirloom quality at all.i quit buying stuff my kids may have to work on later.

  I have 3 Henry levers, i think they are great guns, i just don't have any use for the pump model,
 

 
  Henry builds a quality lever rifle, one average, i doubt very much your kids will be working on one!

 Love the oldies, but don't think I'll be buying another anytime soon. Prices are astronomicable.

i have a pair of rossi pump 22s one round barrel and one octagon barrel. the round barrel rossi shoots shorts long and long rifle you can even mix the shells say short, long ,short ,long rifle and it will fire flawlessly. the octagon has the safety on the bolt and only shoots long rifle. both are verry accurate but as already said it would be diffacult to scope. oh and they are a plesure to carry in the feild.

Remington does, Henry does, Rossi does, Taurus did...mabe still does.
 
 
I bought one the last of the Taurus model 72 carbines the only plastic on it is the butt plate the rest is old school machined steel, I like it, the Kids love it and wish I'd sprung for another as I hardly get to shoot it , kids have it all the time. Bought it new in Kotzebue Alaska gun shop for less than $300
 
The model 72 taurus and the Stevins Model 30 in .22mag (one of a batch of 5 that came in OTZ town all seqential #'s)

As others have stated, you might be better off buying one of the older Winchester (62A & 61) or Remington (121) or Savage (29) pump guns.  Buy a shooter grade and be sure it has a good bore. These shooter grade pump guns are out there in the price range of a new Remington/Browning/Henry pump gun and with far better quality and resale value.  I have a Winchester 61 and 62A currently and neither cost more than $350 on an auction site (shooter grade not collector grade) .  They are great guns!

Those older Rossi's are just as good shooting as the Win 62's and getting dern near as expensive as folks catch on :( .

The older pump guns can't be scoped, unless you drill and tap them. The Remington 572 is still available and is an excelent pump gun. I still have mine that I received as a present from my Father and I still shoot it. It is an early one that isn't serialized but it still shoots fine and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
