Savage 24CS Information

I have seen many posts and message boards about the 24CS but I am very confused.  I am hoping someone can help wrap things up in a nice bow. 


I have a 24CS series Long rifle .22 over 20ga.  Nickle barrels, wooden stocks and pistol grip.  I've had it for 20 years, original production date is unknown, but the gun is in perfect shape.  It has been in storage for 18 years.


Any info or pricing info would be helpful.

The were made from 1972-88, and today can sell for as much as $400-$450 in that condition in the right market (nationwide, as in an online gun auction website).
