Barack Obama has unloaded a blast of criticism at a sheriff who authorized a team of volunteer officers to investigate whether the birth documentation released by the White House as proof of Obama’s eligibility to hold the office is valid or forged.

But the law enforcement officer, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, simply turned Obama’s words into a promotion for his own record of law enforcement for his campaign for the office of sheriff.

“I took an oath to defend the Constitution of both the United States and the state of Arizona,” says a new promotion for Arpaio’s campaign. “So, no ‘investigation,’ no president, no protesters, and no death threats will keep me from doing the job I was elected to do.”

More power to Sheriff Joe, but at this point it seems rather moot. By the time any investigation could come to any fruition, the commie should be a very forgetable footnote in our history. If not, we're in a lot worse trouble than anyone wants to contemplate.

I have studied Obama's life in detail, as set forth in his own books, those of his defenders and in original documents available on the internet. Obama has good reason to be concerned about an official investigation because he is hiding a great deal.

I don’t know for sure if obama is a real American or not, born in this country or not, a Muslim or not. What I do know is he's an extremely bad president and extremely bad for this country. After this, noting else really matters to me at this point in time anymore. After he's done being this terrible, partisan and immature president, he can go build his worthless library and defend what he claims to be and what he did as president even if it conflicts with what we know for sure about him…..

I think this investigation is pointless and is just a publicity stunt by Sheriff Joe. We all know as I am sure Sherriff Joe does too that even if absolutley irrefutable proof were found that Obama were not eligible to be president no one is going to do anything about it-not the republicans not the democrats no one. So whats the point?

Where is he going to get the money to build it? No one with any money is willing to donate any for Obama's folly-library. Think about it, a memorial to the worst President in US history. Maybe that dope Soro's will.

I think the crux of BHO's birth certificate business is that he is actually a love child....father actually unknown, or some other guy in Chicago,,,not Sotero per storyline.....for this reason and to be elected the circumstances of his birth had to be covered...Likely, he is a real citizen by birth but we just don't know who his father really is, or want to say....and they aren't going to talk about it.

Not according to his story line. Sotero "adopted" Barry, he wasn't his natural father. If your supposition regarding his natural father is correct, Barry is in fact a proven liar. So what else is he hiding?

We know Bush handed Obama a mess. We also know what actions Obama has taken since he got in office. His actions/policies have made a bad situation worse.

He does not a get free pass for his poor decisions Junior as much as you want him to have one. The blame it on the last guy routine only works so long and then at some point you have to accept responsability for what he has in fact created with his policies.

Obviously the people of this country gave him a chance, they voted him in. Now he has clearly had an opportunity to put his policies in place and those policies are wrose than Bush's or the previous tax & spend congress.

Unemployment has risen since he started and is still above 9+%. He said his policies would keep it below 8% (liar)
He is adding $1.4t to the national debt every year (best case)
Engaging in war without congressional approval
Oil imports have increased
Record level home foreclosures
Record level chapter 11 & 13s
Record level amount of people the public dole

Guzzijohn, why are you looking at gas prices from a year BEFORE obama took office? Gas prices on Jan 2, 2009 were $1.62. That was a couple of weeks before obama was sworn in and about the time that Bush was leaving office.

My bad. Had a brain fart on the year. Looking again gas was increasing as Obama took office. Jan. 18th avg. was $1.89. Without going back and looking into it I do not know what the fluctuations were about at the time considering a year earlier it had been over three and then dropped backed down.
