anyone have/shoot a 5.7 X 28 barrel in Thompson ?

I have one of the TCA carbine barrels. It shoots just about the same as an 22MAG just that you can reload them. I have shot the factory ammo and have about 500 reloads. Have not yet hunted with it to see how it does not fox or coyotes but I would have to say this one will do the job and almost see the impact since the recoil is very low.

I had an 18" barrel for my Encore.  I used it out to 200 yards on groundhogs.  The power level is slightly over half the difference between the WMR and Hornet.  It was a fun caliber to shoot.  I'll get one for my Contender if I find one affordable enough.
