Well, after a great conversation with Brian 56 (Great guy for this forum) I am going to get me another 35 Whelen. I know. I know, I said I wouldn't do it after all the trouble I had with the last one. But the disease has spread to my brain and I'm gonna bit the bullet. ;D   Still had the frame so I said I could not just let it sit there. Brian said he would take the responsibility to take care of it. CAN'T BEAT THAT. Thanks again Brian. Might just get it back before Mississippi primitive weapon season opens. It really doesn't matter. Like everyone else, I bet I could find another  something to shoot. Feel good about this. ;D ;D

My 35 is at Ilion as we speak. It fired 60 times with 1 misfire so I sent it in. Hope to get it back soon. I started to keep it until season was over but I don't like not "trusting" it. I do have to say that I love shooting it. Good luck with yours. I am in Ms. and I really want it for the 2nd season. hope you enjoy it.
