I do not know about anyone else, but that sounds like a call for a violent overthrow of the American government.    I think that is called treason, or, at the very least, sedition and unprotected speech.    However, I seriously doubt Obummer and the churlish dolt Eric Holder will prosecute this idiot.  He serves as a distraction from the real issues.

You are missing the point.   The 2A was designed to protect the people from an oppressive government.  That is why the 2A reads as follows: "....the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

If you remember your American history lessons, the British military made a concerted effort to rob the various colonial militia armories -- the most famous armory was at Concord, Mass.   American militiamen fought off the British with shotguns, hunting rifles and trade muskets.  The British were determined to disarm and subjugate the colonies.

This history lesson is the whole point of the 2A.  It is to protect the citizenry from an oppressive and tyrannical government that would seek forcible disarmament of the citizenry.   

You can say you have read the Federalist Papers all you want.  I have read them as well, along with the Anti-federalist Papers, as well as James Madison's Notes of the Constitutional Convention, and the minutes of said Convention.   The whole point of the 2A, and the remainder of the Bill of Rights, is protection of the people from government.

Two recent cases involving govt disarmament of the people that were victories for the 2A are District of Columbia v. Heller and McDonald v. Chicago.

If you think our freedoms depend on the whims of government officials, either you are woefully uninformed, or you have a deep distrust of any type of authority.

In any event, I have provided you a law lesson, and a history lesson.  This should be sufficient for you to understand the true meaning of 2A.

you're right.  and we have people at this site who will throw away a vote. did you know that my brother in Ill. has to break the law to protect himself and his wife when they go shopping ?
