USH Light Strike / FTF
« on: October 14, 2011, 02:58:05 PM »
I keep having this issue with the light strikes or FTFs. At first I thought maybe it was contacting the scope but i removed the scope to test with the same results. Anyone else had this issue and if so what was the solution?

See misfires in the FAQs sticky, there are at least three links on them.

Tim's right, he has spent countless hours linking threads for all of us to find the info we need!

 Long story short...

WEAK springs are a known issue... Short firing pin protrusion is another... Weak springs are exacerbated with hammer extensions..

I recommend you check pin, should be at least .040" then buy and install a Wolff spring.

Good luck,

The ill fated "improved" transfer bar appears to be a BIG culprit,
I hope to get the one Tim sent installed 2 nite, I'll report.
