Im having a problem sighting my 35 rem contender with a 14 inch scoped barrel any help or suggestions appreciated

You need to be a little more specific as to what kind of problems you are experiencing before we can offer some help.

 I have not had that problem yet. But if it were me. I would check the. If that don't work it could be you need to. Sometimes   can cause that as well. One last thing to check is. 8)

and if that dont work move the to one side just dont use the red ( purple or blue) is ok

Ok sorry,I'm new to the world of contonders the problem that I have it shots high and to te left at 100yds no matter ow i adjust the scope. the scope is a burris 1x fullfield fixed focus

 I would first check your scope mounts and base, make sure all is tight. Then before you shoot bore sight it. Best way to start is  open the gun, set it on somthing solid. Look thru the barrel and center on your target. Without moving the gun, look thru your scope and see where it is pointing. Try adjusting the scope to the same picture in the barrel. Once you do that, fire a couple rounds and see where that puts ya.
  You might also start at 50 yards. I have even went as far as starting back at 25 yards.

It's the scope if it won't change point of impact when you adjust the scope. Switch scopes and boresight it first.

+1 on the scope.  Unless your Burris has the posilock feature.  There would be a small cover on the left side of the scope right under the turret facing down on about a 45 degree angle.  The posilock will lock the crosshairs and they can't be moved until you unlock the feature.  To do that take the small cover off and use a small screwdriver to turn the slotted screw head counterclockwise about 1 turn.  After the scope is sighted in remember to turn the screw back clockwise to lock the crosshairs.  Hope this helps you.

 Thats what makes this site so great. I learned something else new. I have never owned a Burris scope. Didn't know some scopes had a posi lock feature. Thanks

finally went to the range today started at 25 yrd's then 50 and finally 100 yrd's shot 2'' groups at all ranges
