This is what I had done on my 45Cal Huntsman.  I don't remember the company that made the front sling mount.  You have to be careful drilling the rear hole.

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.

Old School Ranger...I really like that front sling mount you have,  I'll buy one today if I can find out who makes them.  Ive been trying to figure out how to mount a sling on my front-stuffer without drilling or tying around the barrel or the bar underneath.  This looks to be a very sanitary install.

There are times I need to have my hands free from toting my rifle.  If you can think of the manufacturer post it up.

Cheers!

Well Ive done some checking around.  Appears "Uncle Mikes" makes a front mount that looks like the one Old School Ranger posted the pic of.

http://www.unclemikes.com/um_cat_swivels.html

Look under Rifle Swivels, they have several sizes.  The ferrules that hold my ram-rod on my Muzzle Loader are .60 inches outside diameter.  The UM Swivels listed for Marlin are the closest to a fit.  I think I can sand them out a bit and make a workable front attachment.  They are model # 1051-2.  Only problem is you can't buy just the front attachment...gotta get the entire front / rear package.  Check around the internet and find them for less than $15.

Guys, I looked for the receipt, but can't find it.  My guess is that it's an Uncle Mike's (like Silvertp said) or Michaels of Oregon.  For some reason the company name "Allen", (the company also makes shooting gloves), but I'm not sure of the entire company name, sticks in my mind.  I also saw this online when I was trying to find the sling mount for you guys.  Sorry, I can't be of further help.
