Caught My First Beaver!!!!

I went to the river this morning to check my only beaver trap. When I got to it I heard a big splash. I ran to it to see a preety good sized beaver hiding under the water. He must not have dove in the water upon steppin in the trap so didn't drown. He was firmly caught my a back foot in my #3 duke coilspring. My castormound set finally paid off, and yal where right. Beaver trapping is addictive and i am an addict.

congrats,

i've only caught a few myself, but it is very addictive, there is something about it that makes me keep putting traps out.

Good god 16/17 ya need to get into a 12 step program and quick :roll: .  iffin you're not careful you may turn into another Boggy ...oh lordy :shock:

Nice Job!!! Havent ever caught me a beaver yet but never really tried too hard I tell you what i might have to though

Congrats there ! I woulda posted sooner but I was Beaver trappin! Brought in 4 last time out.Here we are now all under much Ice,and got a foot a snow on top.Finally got snow to insulate,won't hafta work as hard gettin thru the ice now.Been a REAL strange season weather wise......Yo been bit by the bug......Welcome  to the Beaver Trapping Group.
