airsoft guns suck(my Tirade on airsoft)
« on: October 18, 2011, 09:36:43 AM »
well here i am again, a break gun and out of the money i paid for it. the first airsoft gun a got was a mini Mp5(full auto) from walmart  back in 07 and i took it back because it ate barriers, got hot real fast and was not fun to use. 2ND airsoft gun was a new in box glock 18c(ull auto and single shot) and when i loaded it up the motor did not work. I give up and airsoft guns  but i saw 2 used airsoft guns for sale at a flea market over the weekend  for 3$ and came with a uncle mikes holster. I got them because one looked like a Troy M7A1 - Close Quarters Battle Covert Deployment Carbine (which i like) and the other was a golck 18c. well the glock had the mag spring jammed in it and  the AR was a  spring airsoft  and after 2 shots the cocking handle braked off.  I have also used the Echo 1 E-90 and the motor burned out on it after 2 mags.  I had wanted to get the M14 Scout Electric Rifle or Combat Zone MAG-9  from pyramydair.com but now that not going to happen because to me all airsoft guns are kids toys that break really fast and are just ways to get you from your money. also they seem to be made very poorly.

if anyone cares here is me with the gun http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg112/rabbitwolf/stuff%20to%20look%20at/042.jpg

I looked into them myself a few months ago, seems the quality is all over the place.  I did not even consider the cheap plastic ones for $40.00.  Was looking at some metal handguns for around $150.00 but decided not to go there as the slide hits the hammer when it comes back on the 1911's and on real guns this takes a beating, with these potmetal versions I felt they would wear out quickly.

There was a Glock version that I was thinking about, I own 3 original Glocks, so did not want more of the same thing.  Makes you think about how represive it is in other countries where the only choice is to buy air soft and not an actual gun.
