New hub ground blind
« on: October 18, 2011, 05:47:09 PM »
I just got a new ground blind, my ladder stand days are over. I have the new Ameristep Devastator 75" wide at the hubs and 69" high. I can just stand up in it and there is no pin holes in stiching in the roof like others I looked at. It has the NS3 carbon enhanced material for scent control and it sure works. How do I know? I did this. My dog was at the other end of the house in the bedroom, I got in the blind in the livingroom- fresh out of the box. I then whisled for the dog, he came running it was so funny. He looked at the ceiling out the windows and all around the room and only a foot or two from me in the blind. He did not smell or see me! I think this will make a good deer blind for an old man like me.
RIP Mike. Died on July 14th, around 2am, with his family at his side, he went peacefully to be with god.
