44 MAG RECIPE

just picked up a 629 smith...need some of your pet loads....looking for accuracy......210 gr. rem. jhp. and 240 xtps....any help will be helpful......THANKS..DECKAPE

8 grains of Unique under a 240 grain Keith style SWC.

Can't help you on the 210s but 24.0 grains of W296/H110 under that 240 XTP has been accurate in every .44 magnum handgun and rifle I've owned and that's a bunch.

  I've used H-110(win 296) for max loads in the 44. Most though are mid power loads with H Universal.

I load 210gr Rem HP bullets over a max charge of Universal for my deer load. It only kills on one end. ;)
