I know what I'm talking about.

The 1125 is A Rotax engine made in Austria. And you, Swampman are telling us this is the engine used in the Sportsters?

The folks at Rotax know what they're doing. They're putting out some seriously stout engines.

On the subject of Buell... has there been any more word on the 1190 race bike that he developed? Is there a road version in the works? That 1190 seems like some bad medicine for the Ducati's. :o

I was talking about the American made Buells.  I hadn't seen these new foreign made versions.

it isnt the making a mistake...it is the going back and trying to fix it and act like he didnt; combine that with his "i'm never wrong" attitude.......no, he doesnt need a break.

I like Buells but I wouldn't own a V-Rod.  A Buell is just a restyled Sportster and they aren't very fast but they are still old school.

What is "Old School" about this?

I have ridden a Thunderbolt, Lightening and a Blast in the Buell family. I rode them hard and fast. Very, very exciting.

My oldest son went to the show in Chicago this weekend and fondled one of Erik's new 1190RS's.
The bike looks pretty small under him but he 6'4" tall and 250lbs.
