Seems thats there are several self proclaimed Christians here who accept homosexuality as normal and OK, seems like theres been a whole lot of scripture left out of THEIR Bible, or they choose to ignore Gods word, could be they think God is just old fashioned. God hasn't changed, man has. Maybe they had a spcl printing made up that conveniently left out what God had to say about these effeminate, or butch types. I worked with several of that persuasion, good workers and we tolerated each other, one even said she went to church. A female pastor in Lou claimed to have MARRIED over 500 gay couples 3 yrs ago. I wonder how many souls that false preacher has led to hell?? I noticed that none of the gay supporters here has said YES, I'd let them raise my children or grandchildren. POWDERMAN.

Misquoting the Bible does not get my attention. If you want to show your support for Homosexuals who can not reproduce naturally and must feed on natural life to survive. Start by willing your own children and grand children to these Homosexuals. Do not force these wards of the government who are unable to know or make a decision about their lives into an alternate life style. Would you force these same children to become farm labor? No you would protest this as being wrong. Twist this as you please, show us one place in the Bible that says turn your children over to the homosexuals. What does homo's raising innocent children have to do with judging? I kind of see it as an issue of right and wrong.
Homosexuality is a sin in God's eyes, and you say we should just shut up about it, and mind our own business. If you saw a murder about to take place, which is also a sin in God's eyes. Would you just mind your own business or would you do something to stop it? Would you see murder as judging, or an issue of right and wrong?

When you make the observation that men raising young girls is not a good mix it is not judging . It is an observation that has been made about a situation . If I remember correctly the Old Testament states men should not care for/teach young children. The same Bible that states men should noy lay down with other men or critters tells us this. The fact that some wish to turn their head to the fact that homosexuality is sin does not change the fact it is considered sin by those who believe in the Bible. I have raised a daughter and can assure all I was very happy to have her mother shareing the duty of parenthood when she reached the age where she started becoming a young lady with all the physical changes that take place.
In a situation such as this the childs wealfare should be the only consideratio not the idea of being PC so as to not offend some speical intrest group.

Children should be placed in as good an environment as possible . The normal model is a father and a mother. If at all aval. this should be the goal. By your post you note the impossibility of being raised by anyone but a sinner nice try.
It is not an exercise in support of the homosexual but an effort to give a child the best possible chance at a normal and fulfilling life.
Who wants to see a lone child sitting at a table at school when its either mothers visit day or fathers visit day as the case may be ? Bad enough when one has a parent that has passed on.
Lets get down to the nitty gritty. A child raised by homosexuals will be raised different than any other child he or she will have to compete with in life . They will be raised to a different set of standards . I can't imagine a girl being denied the love and companship of a mother on purpose just to glorify a deviate lifestyle. Right or wrong in your mind this is true of America today.

You can leave religion out of it if need be . A child raised by a male / female couple would fit the model of a normal couple in todays America. If that is not possible a woman in most cases would be better suited to raise a girl and educate her to the physical conditions a woman will need to understand about her own body and how to care for herself throught out her life. Educatre me do gay men experince yeast infections and periods with accompaning cramps and headaches ? Nothing like mom/other woman to comfort a youngh girl at such times.

Seems pretty simple to me. Their "want" in raising the little girl is obviously more important to them than any issues the girl will have to face. If they were truly sincere in her welfare they'd help find her a normal home but it seems more about making a point than anything else. Hey look at us, we're not normal and there's nothing you can do about it! Take out all the hype and that's all you're left with. Saddly she'll pay the price for their notoriety.

Do you see what I mean here ? There they go again, comparing "best case/worst case"... Either the child lives in a happy relationship in a house of perversion..or they languish in an orphanage somewhere (seen an orphanage lately ?).
The fact is..children languish in the adoption system because it is far to EXHAUSTING and EXPENSIVE to adopt a child in our present system. Many more would be adopted by good... and normal parents, were the cost more in line with what the REAL costs are.
We are already paying the 'social workers' for any time they are putting into investigating potential parents...so where does the big cost come in ? I think we all may know some couple who are very fine people, but cannot afford the costly multiple thousands of dollars it costs to adopt.
These are many thousands of dollars which could go towards the child's well being. Who rakes off the big $$$ and why should it be this way? Who is profiting by these children "languishing in the adoption system"?
There is a rat in the haystack somewhere ! Could it be that a 'political statement' for homosexual adoption is being made at the cost of these kids having a home ?
