Rush reads the news, same as anyone else...he uses his good humor while commenting on what basically someone else already wrote..throw some logic in...that's about it.  I actually agree with Rush's comments on the current news...not a big deal, if there were no such thing as Rush I'd be thinking the same thing already, I was pretty much having the same comments myself before I ever heard of Rush.  He doesn't really piss off the left wingnuts because he's wrong, he pisses them off because he's right, it's supposed to work that way. He is not there to make TM7 or anyone feel good...if it gets to the point where some left wingnut compares him to a terrorist...he's done his job.  Job well done.

   Put me on that list too, fellas..   It was 1988 and I was finishing off an extra house I had purchased which was about 75% complete.  I liked talk radio back then nad usually listened to a couple Canadian shows which were about 80 miles away, since we had very few then.  Yes, the Canadians were liberal..but now and then a conservative caller would be on..that was refreshing.
  I bumped over to a nearby station...and here's a guy making all kinds of 'good sense', such as I could not recall anybody speaking so truthfully, positively, logically and direct.  MAN!!!  What a blessing !!   Right away, I clued in everyone I dealt with to the great "common sense" man...  He was putting over the air, thoughts I hsad and words I had been saying for many years...

I have yet to see anyone give exact statements and sources that Rush actually said, everything he says is recorded, but the truth is when you ask someone exactly what did Rush say, they can't give you anything exact, nor do they send you a recording of the show.  Even here there are no examples of something Rush said that was horrible or terrorist like.  I have seen where a statement was taken by him that sounds bad, until you hear the entire rest of the statements and have it context.  Anyone that famous no matter what they do is bound to have gobs of rumors floating around and made up.  I think Rush very rarely gets serious, there is a lot of humor and sarcasm in his shows.  One of the very few times Rush was serious was his speech to CPAC....I agreed with everything in that speech, and truth be told, so do most people with half a brain, it would be very hard for anyone here to listen to that speech and disagree with anything in it.  Even the ones on here that don't like him at all...I'm sure must agree with that rare serious speech of his views.  The entertainment part....talent on loan from God, half a brain tied behind his back, humor, sarcasm...it's what he does, he just having fun and making money at it, and making money for other people at the same time.  "More fun than a human being should be allowed to have"....he admits it.  If you don't like him, switch stations, and don't tell me you can't find the opposite...I have no trouble with that either.
