I have not denied that passages in the bible speak out against homosexuality. I am also quite sure that all of us on this board have sinned often and grievously despite of our best of intentions not too. What I have been saying and I will say again that Jesus preaches love and tolerance to all. Below are some statements from Mother Teresa that explain much better than I ever could.


   Jesus died on the Cross because that is what it took for Him to do good to us - to save us from our selfishness in sin. He gave up everything to do the Father's will - to show us that we too must be willing to give up everything to do God's will - to love one another as He loves each of us. If we are not willing to give whatever it takes to do good to one another, sin is still in us. That is why we too must give to each other until it hurts.
It is not enough for us to say: "I love God," but I also have to love my neighbor. St. John says that you are a liar if you say you love God and you don't love your neighbor. How can you love God whom you do not see, if you do not love your neighbor whom you see, whom you touch, with whom you live? And so it is very important for us to realize that love, to be true, has to hurt. I must be willing to give whatever it takes not to harm other people and, in fact, to do good to them. And the mother of the family took the rice I gave her and went out. When she came back, I asked her: "Where did you go? What did you do?" And she gave me a very simple answer: "They are hungry also." guzzi. Feeding and caring for the hungry and homeless should, and does, concern us all no matter their beliefs, or unbeliefs. Good post but it has nothing to do with accepting homosexuality, nothing. If you are saying, and it sounds like you are, that Jesus Christ now accepts and condones the sin of homosexuality then you are sadly mistaken my friend. Romans is not the only place this is condemned, you are asking real Christians to deny Gods word and accept homosexuality as normal acceptable behaviour, aint gonna happen. POWDERMAN.

  If I have neighbors who are involved in that sin, I would LOVE for them to come to their senses and put efforts  into straightening their lives out.
   I never said I hated these people, but I do hate their practice. From the verses I posted, we know that if done persistently and without repentence, their eternal soul is in danger.  Perhaps the greatest act of concern and love is trying to help them avoid this final, fatal judgement. 
   Conversely, perhaps the most cruel thing (on an eternal basis) is to never tell such a person of the danger they are in with this practice !  ..just let them go to hell, without a warning..some "love & kindness"  huh ?
     Yes, we all have sin but it is important that we at least fight the sin every day if need be...and don't pretend it is no sin.
  Most people who are drunks, adulterers, theives, addicted gamblers etc, willingly admit they are "deep in sin".  But we are not dealinbg here for the most part with people who admit they are involved in a dirty sin...in fact, some boast about "gay pride".
  Why do you suppose we hear no groups boast about..forger's pride, robber's pride, pyromaniac's pride, adulterer's pride or any other "PRIDE"?
   BTW:  The word "pride" is used some 41 times in the KJV ...not once in a positive light !
