yes he was!!!
I stood out beside the runway one time and watched a 727 land with the nosewheel sideways and the pilot balanced the airplane on the main gear until he was almost stopped and then he just dropped the nose.
flying a plane is simple, but it's times like those where they earn their money.
like Sulley up in NYC.

I would guess that there will be quite a few man hours of repair before that plane flies again.

The important thing is that they all walked away from it. I doubt they even care if its fixable. One thing tho I'll bet some folks had stains in thier britches.

I thought the same thing. I doubt the landing was quiet either. Lots of screaming and praying, then hopefully praising the Lord for answering their prayers. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D
