Son shot this on Sat. the 19th(today) Wisconsin in our home shotgun area. (Soon to be rifle) 20 ga. Tracker II -Leupold 1.5-5x20mm scope, Winchester 3" Partition Gold Sabot. 30 yards- one shot thru the heart DRT.

Also thanks everyone for sharing all the nice deer pics.

Notch another one for the .357max. My first time gun hunting and i shot a 6pt opening weekend Nov 12. 50 yard broadside shot pass through doublelung. the Hornady 180gr SSP worked very well and left a 1" exit hole. the buck ran less than 50 yards and dropped in sight!

Small eatin' buck with one of my 30-30 Handi's!

125 gr Rem SP ahead of 1 grain more then the minimum load of TAC.

Wow I am kind of shocked there has been no 25-06 or .270 Win. I thought there was a bunch of those floating around out there.... Maybe there are not as many as I thought.

Looks like about a 3-1 advantage for the Rimmed cartridge crowd.....

Those long shooters probably just could not get far enough away and just had to let them go...........

Add another for the TrackerII 20 ga. One shot at 9AM Wednesday 23rd @ 52 yards with a 3" Barnes Expander Slug. Devastating exit wound. This is the spare Tracker II we had between me and my son. Our area is going rifle soon so we sold one of the Tracker II's and added some more Topper 30-30's

Add another to the 357max...got this one today. 15 yards 180sspb DRT High shoulder-spine shot...He came out at about dark looking for a girlfriend, and was acually smelling of a tree where I sprayed some Doe-in-heat.

Topper 158 in 3030 is our barn gun, so far this year its gotten 3 coyotes. I got one more each while hunting ground squirrels with the 22 Hornet and 223. So 5 this year.

Thanks giving was a slug fest for Clan Spikehorn. Spikehorn Jr. took a broken antlered buck in the morning with his 20ga USH, and I took an 8 point that afternoon with my Tracker II 20ga

I don't know. We don't have to weigh them here. He went straight to the processors. I'm guessing 170-180 dressed. Now it's time for does, putting meat in the freezer.
