Poor Newt had a bad day. Made the paper up there in New Jersey. Here's a link to the story....

The old trapper in the sky figured he didnt have any room for anymore trappers especially NEWT .  Now Newt has 8 lives to go and  8 more tries at a pink truck and a 22 foot boat.   Glad  the old crabber saw your boat bobbing, heck what would i do without you do grub on.

DANG!!  I sure am glad Newt and the others are ok now.  As I read the article, it sent shivers down my back.  We can't do without old Newt even if he is a castor sniffer.  Newt is part of the backbone of the trapping family and I am so glad he is ok.
For Sale: Old wore out trapper - rode hard, put up wet, high milage and earned every mile.

RdFx, I dont know if that was the close'st or not. But it sure was up amoung the highest.Had a lot of close calls working "off shore" on the Clam Boats.Guess the man up stairs has his quita of trappers this season.
Wacky, The boat is a tipical 16' South Jersey Garvey. They are made for this area. You know that.It just was a freek wave along with a big puff of wind.Over we went. No bumps, splashes or thrill rides .It just went over so smooth we did not know what happened till we were going under.

sure glad you and your party are ok.

What gets me is you are as experienced a man around on the water- and it happened to you.

don't be messing with the pink elephant. Lucy is near and dear to Newt. Plus how many other states have a pink elephant you can live in

I thought they had to tear her down because she was in such a terrible state of repair.
